Manchester city vs Aston Vila EPL 26.10.2019

Following a 2-0 away win to Crystal Palace, Manchester City (W3, L2) climbed two points closer to Liverpool at the top of the Premier League (PL) table in the last round. Ahead of kick-off, City has recorded 12 wins in their last 14 home matches, scoring two or more goals on ten occasions.
They showed no mercy against newly-promoted sides the last term, winning five of six PL matches in that category with a clean sheet, and 3.0 goals scored on average. Their current form apparently makes it a question of ‘how many’, as Man City have scored 3.5 goals on average across six competitive home matches this season.
With two straight wins, which have featured both teams scoring and 4.5 total goals on average, the ‘Villans’ have offered plenty of entertainment, with their away matches averaging 4.0 goals so far. Thus far, six of Villa’s nine PL matches this season have seen both teams score, though Villa has conceded the last goal in all four PL away matches so far.

Manchester city vs Wolves 6.10.2019

Fresh from a controlled 2-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, Manchester City should be set for a routine victory. Three wins, 16 goals scored and just two conceded after four competitive home matches are the key numbers so far. Particularly impressive is the fact that City has kept a clean sheet in three straight home matches, and four of the last five overall.

The total goals output from matches involving the ‘Sky Blues’ stands at a whopping 4.86 in the PL so far. Significantly, all of their seven league matches have featured at least four goals, with a majority (four) seeing both teams score.

Wolves got their first PL win of the season in the last round, scoring two goals for just the third time in seven league matches. Still hard to beat, their tally of four draws is the highest in the PL and is impressive considering that they have been behind at half time in four of seven league matches so far.
